WELCOME TO THEOCS CLUB,
THIS CLUB IS FOCUSED TOWARD MORE SERIOUS ARTISTS WHO WANT TO BE FUTURE PROFESSIONAL CHARACTER DESIGNERS, OR JUST PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE BETTER AT CHARACTER DESIGN. ONLY SUBMISSIONS THAT FOCUS ON THE ACTUAL DESIGN ASPECT OF THE CHARACTERS, AND FULL ART OF A PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED DESIGN WILL BE UPLOADED TO THE CLUB.


Joining!
If you would like to join theocs, please send a note to the club (not a comment on the page as those are hard to keep track of)
If you don't see your name on the list after a week has passed, send a confirmation note to us; titled confirmation, restating the fact that you'd like to be in the club... but it doesn't matter if your name is on the list or not, we will submit your original character design art as long as you've asked to be in the club.
We will take any initial art you'd like to submit with your "join" note, just give us a link to each piece. Thanks! ~Management)

Rules of the Club:
- Once you join, please put our icon or name in your journal or where ever you store your club list. (This can be done by typing either : icontheocs : or : devtheocs : just without the spaces)
- Please watch the club for journal updates and news on submitting as well as upcoming contests.

Submitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are a member of theocs and want to submit art to us, submit it on your own account and then send a link of the submission to the club in a note titled "Submission". Please be patient if you don't see your picture for a few days.

THERE WILL BE ONLY TWO KINDS OF SUBSSIONS.
THE FIRST KIND: A SUBMISSION SHOWING THE CHARACTER STANDING STRAIGHT UP FROM THE FRONT, AND BACK (SIDE ALSO IF NESSICARY, AND IN A CHARACTER SPECIFIC ACTION POSE IF APPLICABLE(REFER TO SPIDERMAN'S HANGING SQUAT POSITION)). ALSO, VARIOUS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS WOULD BE GREAT.

THE SECOND KIND: FULL COLOR ART DEPICTING A CHARACTER ALREADY UPLOADED TO THEOCS IN THE FORM OF THE FIRST KIND OF SUBMISSION. THIS CAN BE EITHER ONE OF YOUR OWN, OR HOW YOU INVISIONED SOMEONE ELSES TO BE.

THE CLUBS FUNCTION IS "IMPROVING CHARACTER DESIGNERS" RATHER THAN SIMPLY "SHOWING ART WITH CHARACTERS ON THEM, OFF". BY SUBMITTING TO THEOCS YOU'RE ASKING FOR AN INDEPTH CRITIQUE ON YOUR CHARACTER OR TAKE ON A PRE-EXISTING CHARACTER FROM THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THEOCS AND THE DEVIANT ART COMMUNITY. YOU MAY REQUEST ALL COMMENTS BE SENT TO THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK ON YOUR PAGE OF DEVIANTART.
